The process progressed fairly quickly. I applied online and received a call from the HR recruiter within 1-2 weeks. I had a phone interview with the department director the following week. Both phone discussions were very informative, pleasant and welcoming. The director provided great insight into what the job entailed, the department's accomplishments and the future direction for the team. I then flew in (I lived out of state) for an in-person interview with the director and HR recruiter and then with members of the team. I was offered the position the next day. Overall, the interview process was great and I was able to get to know members of the team with whom I would work --this was very helpful and important to me.
