I applied online. I interviewed at Cargo Chief (Los Angeles, CA) in Sept 2020
Interview
It was fairly easy - I sent him my resume with a cover letter, he responded that he won't hire me on a salary (even though I have experience selling that type of software) beause I had never been a freight broker. Then said he would offer to let me work commission only for 10% MRR, and if I proved myself, we could talk about a salary then.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Cargo Chief in Oct 2014
Interview
I had 3 phone interviews (2 with the VP of Sales, 1 with the CEO). It was a quick process and not drawn out like most companies. I was able to talk about my past sales and customer account management experiences. By the end of the 3rd interview, I knew if the job was offered to me, what they would expect of me in terms of activities and performance metrics.
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cargo Chief (Mountain View, CA) in June 2015
Interview
I had two rounds of interview-One was technical phone screen and second was onsite interview.
Phone interview was 30 minutes long, which consisted of resume questions and some technical questions also with availability questions.
Onsite interview was for around 3 hours with 3 interviewers. They were cooperative and encouraging. I had whiteboard coding as well. I had a small tour of the company. It went well. But there was only one position open.
