I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Carr Gomm (Edinburgh, Scotland) in June 2021
Interview
Simple and straightforward. Clear communication and no leaving you in the dark. Questions are relevant to the rile and you could tell they are looking to see how well you can carry on the job
I applied online via their website. This involved writing a personal statement alongside other basic details. A few days later I received an email inviting me to an interview. The interview was then arranged in good time, giving me time to prepare. The interview was over WhatsApp video which I much prefer to a standard telephone interview as they can be really difficult to engage with the interviewer I find.
The interviewer was quite late, but apologised and stated there had been a lot of interviews that day. Overall, the interview was quite good. I feel as if I really got to know the role and show the interviewer who I am. The questions were reasonable and mainly what I expected for a role like this.
I received a phone call the next day where I received an offer.
I applied online. I interviewed at Carr Gomm in Apr 2021
Interview
Relaxed phone interview with a really friendly manager. The questions were very reasonable and there wasn't anything aimed to quiz you or catch you off guard, it was more about getting to know you and your suitability for the role, etc.
