Interview Process at Casafari – A Mixed Experience
Pros:
The process began in a well-structured and organized manner, with clear communication regarding next steps.
The practical assessment aligned closely with the role's responsibilities and felt meaningful.
Early communication was professional and encouraging.
Cons:
Inconsistent Standards: While the interview timeline was clearly outlined, expectations did not always apply equally. A scheduling issue was cited late in the process as a reason for disqualification, despite earlier flexibility in communication on the company’s side. This discrepancy felt unfair and inconsistent.
Lack of Transparency: After progressing through several interview stages, I was informed that I was no longer being considered based on a minor and disputed issue related to timing. Despite my efforts to clarify and reaffirm interest in the role, I received no further information or updates.
Abrupt Silence: I was told additional interviews were taking place before a final decision. However, communication ceased completely after that message. I followed up but received no reply, leaving the process without closure.
Unclear Internal Alignment: Throughout the process, the messages and tone varied between different stages, leaving the overall direction and expectations unclear. This lack of cohesion made the experience confusing from a candidate perspective.
Final Thoughts:
Casafari’s recruitment process started on a positive note, with structure and clarity. However, the later stages revealed issues in consistency, transparency, and follow-through. Candidates invest significant time and energy, and it’s important that communication—especially around rejection or process changes—remains timely and respectful. Improving internal alignment and offering clear closure would enhance the candidate experience significantly.
