I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cass Information Systems in July 2014
Interview
The application begins online. After I would say 10 days I got a phone call from HR. There was no phone interview, they just appointed one on site. The on site interview begins with job description which is followed by tests. First test is speed of typing, they are looking for 10 000 ksph so if you do not really make at least 7500 - 8000 do not think that they will take you. You type in their training program or something, names and numbers - all your mistakes and speed are measured. I made on my first attempt 9750 and 1 mistake and was told that is enough. You get some training trials if you want to I think. After that follows test with number sequences - which follows in the row 2 1 4 2 3 6 4 8, that is an example - there are many like this, i would say 50. After that test follows another test - you are given pairs of numbers and you have to recognize and mark the identical ones. After that I guess they check your score immediately or it might have happened just in my case, I am not certain, but I got to meet a representative from HR. There was a 15 minute interview with no particularly strange questions that i can highlight. Why do you want to work from home?, Are you going to be distracted, where will you work?, they might talk a little about your previous experience.
After that you have another interview with the supervisor for that position who gives more specifics about the position and pretty much repeats the previous questions.
It might seem a little overwhelming when i write it like this but the feeling that I got is that the most important thing are the tests - once you pass them, the interviews are just formal and you have to screw up really bad in order to not get hired, which is rather difficult since they do not ask any really difficult and confusing questions. Probably they need people as the pay rate is rather low - 10.50 per hour.
After all the interviews they run a background check on you, as well as reference check - this check is done through a site that asks for at least 3 referrals. Then in a day or two they give you a call and it is up to you to say Yes or No.
