Caterpillar is one of the amazing core companies which provides you higher salary package. It came to college with a package of 8.8 LPA.
The interview process was very simple. There were three rounds.

2. GD
3. Final interview

Felt rushed; Interviewer did not seem to care to do his due diligence; unfriendly setting; overall a pretty negative experience. Was asked some irrelevant questions which I tried to answer but the outcome seemed predetermined.

1st aptitude round -overall questions were easy questions from time and work porfit and losses trains boats and streams etc
Reading RS Agarwal book will get you clear this round
2nd group discussion- mainly about recent trendy topics
3rd technical and hr- maily from your area of interest mentioned in the resume
