Caterpillar Manufacturing Engineer Apprentice interview questions

*Candidates were refined beforehand with a telephone interview from the college which was STAR based *Almost ten people were due to arrive but only around 3/4 (including me did) *We started with a group activity where we had to make a profitable tower from skewers and marshmallows (each costing us money). The higher the tower, the more the revenue. *Each candidate had to display a powerpoint presentation about a project they had done in the last year. *Members of staff displayed a presentation about Caterpillar *Candidates were given a tour around the factory by a current apprentice *The interview was STAR based with two interviewers which both stopped to write down notes *The atmosphere was friendly *Caterpillar said they would contact me within 2 weeks about reviewing the positives and negatives about my interview performance, as well as if I got the position. After almost 3 weeks Caterpillar had not contacted me so I called them and was given a time for interview feedback and success review. The person on the phone was very helpful, but due to being in a different department did not know if I got the position so offered to follow it up. I am currently awaiting a response I am not sure if I have a job offer at this moment.
