I applied online. I interviewed at Causecode Technologies in Mar 2017
Interview
I applied through LinkedIn, I got a call from HR executive for initial telephonic interview. She asked very basic questions about my skill set, academic projects, internship and previous job offers and then she told me to wait for another call if my profile gets shortlisted. In a day or two I got a mail to book interview slots for remote interview. They had 2 interviews :
1. HR Screening
2. Technical Interview + live coding
Hr was very polite and helpful throughout the process.
Round one :
Almost same questions as telephonic round were asked with some mainstream basic Java interview questions like overloading vs overriding, hashset vs treeset, polymorphism which are damn simple if you know Java or OOPS.
Round two :
Happened after a week in my case but they are very flexible with interview slots. You need to use that laptop which you use for coding. This round was online interview with CEO where he asked me questions from my resume and about my side projects. I was asked to share my screen and show the source code of any side project which I did. Some questions were asked from there. This round lasted for about 15 mins. No coding exercise was given to me.
Result was declared after two days of interview and I got a offer from CauseCode Technologies.
I applied online. I interviewed at Causecode Technologies (Calcutta) in July 2017
Interview
The interview process was very smooth, with enough time to complete the coding round.
First was an HR round, followed by a coding round where I was given options to select a particular task from a variety of projects. The projects can be completed as a frontend, backend or full-stack project. With successful completion of the coding round, I had a technical interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions related to Data structures, Database, Web Development and questions related to the task chosen.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Causecode Technologies in Dec 2016
Interview
I was given a challenge to make a full stack app in 7 days by making use of a specific 3rd party service. The stack was of my choice so I went with MEAN. I did it in 4 days. Which made me step up to the interviews with the co-founders. I was given the offer but I rejected it because I was getting a better deal elsewhere.
Please do not look at the negative reviews around here. Those are kind of people who will always be ready with excuses if they cannot get the task done. They will never accept their faults with grace and work on it. You don't want to be that person.
I hope CC keeps finding the right people. I bet it's a wonderful place to work with because the co-founders promote embracing new technologies. Not all organizations do that.
We thank you for sharing your experience with us and are extremely sorry to know that things didn't work out for you. We really appreciate it. Thank you.
