I met the District Manager at a restaurant. He ran through the details of the jobs and I told him about my prior work experience. I was new to the beer industry and explained how my prior experiences in sales and customer service relate to the position. In my opinion, Being on time, having integrity, and sales experience are the most important traits that he was looking for..

Question 1
Do you understand the three tiersystem regarding beer distribution?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cavalier Distributing Company (Cincinnati, OH) in Aug 2019
Interview
I first got a call from one of the District Managers, describing the position and company to me. He then offered an in-person interview if I was still interested. I accepted, and came in for a close to 45 minute interview with both District Managers in Cincinnati. It was fairly laid back and had a very casual feel. If you're interviewing for this position, they will eventually promote you to sales, so they're essentially interviewing for a sales position, even though you won't start off that way. It's a good way to get introduced to the industry.
