      Rio de Janeiro
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Caylent (Rio de Janeiro) in Sept 2024

      Interview

The interview process was respectful and fast. I only had three meetings: the first with the recruiter and the other two with engineers who asked me how I built some systems in the cloud. This was the best interview process I've been through. No coding and fast answers.

      Interview

The selection process was very quick and super smooth; everything was completed in just 3 stages. The technical stages were quite challenging, requiring me to build robust architectures simulating real high-scalability cases. I felt very excited from the very first contact, with all the warmth and positive energy.

      Interview

The process was quick and straightforward. In two weeks, I had three interviews: one with HR to discuss my experience and expectations, and two with architects about my technical background. The first technical interview focused on development topics like Object-Oriented Programming, parallelism, and AWS resources such as DynamoDB and Lambda. The second interview included a discussion of my background followed by a 30-minute System Design session.

      Question 1

      1. How do you avoid race conditions in Java? 2. What are the Limits of execution of a lambda? 3. How Can I cost-effectively achieve scalability for a web app application in AWS?
