On 24 April 2026, I attended an interview with Medpace, and overall, the experience went well. I was able to answer most of the questions during both the technical and HR rounds. The HR discussion also went positively, where I was asked about my expected salary range and possible joining date, which I clearly shared.
However, on Monday, I received a regret email stating that I was not selected.
I understand that hiring decisions involve multiple factors beyond interview performance, and a candidate may be suitable for more than one role within the organization. At the same time, I feel it would be helpful for candidates to understand the selection criteria better, as sometimes strong interview performance alone may not guarantee selection.
Additionally, in cases where internal referrals or other priorities are considered, it would be appreciated if the process could be more transparent, so that candidates’ time and effort are also valued.
Highly disappointed by the interview process
