I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Centene (Saint Louis, MO) in Oct 2017
Interview
I originally had my interview in October 2017 and was the first person to be interviewed for the position. I then got follow up emails from the recruiters asking if I was still interested throughout November as interviews were still being conducted. Then I heard from them once at the beginning of December that interviews would wrap up soon. Then I got a call the first week after the New Year holiday asking for a 2nd interview. I then got a call about a couple of weeks later (end of January) with an offer. I accepted and then I had to wait for my background check to come back which came back pretty fast within 3 business days but this can vary from person to person. Here's a bit of advice for future candidates..... definitely have accurate dates of your employment (supervisor names & company verification number or direct number to company), and dates of education. so that your background check will come back fast. This was a longer process than usual only because of the holiday's that interrupted the hiring process. I've been told by others I know work here that usually the longest it can take is around 2 months sometimes. If asked if I would go through it all over again I definitely would because this is a great company to join forces with.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you were faced with a challenge and how did you deal with that.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Centene (Saint Louis, MO) in Jan 2025
Interview
structured, engaging, and moderate in difficulty, often focusing on behavioral questions using the STAR method. The process usually involves a recruiter screen followed by team or panel interviews, with many candidates noting a positive, welcoming, and mission-driven atmosphere
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Centene (Charlotte, NC) in June 2024
Interview
Lengthy interview process, but the recruiters and team leaders do a great job of setting expectations of what the following interview rounds will look like. Recruiters are also very responsive to questions in between rounds of interviews.
