I applied and received an initial phone screen for a position with one of Centene's companies, CeltiCare in Boston. I currently live across the country but was moving in two weeks at the time of my application for the position. This information was prominent in both my resume and cover letter. After a Centene woman from talent acquisition called and scheduled a phone interview with the hiring manager, she called back to cancel the interview because she didn't realize I did not currently live in Boston. I found this to be extremely unprofessional. I receive no apology for the inconvenience despite the fact I had spent time preparing for my scheduled interview.
