I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Centene in June 2023
Interview
There was a 30 min screening interview with a recruiter, a 30 min interview with a hiring leader, and a 60 min panel interview. Questions focused on background and how it applies to the role. Communication from the recruiter was excellent and all the interviewers were professional, courteous, and comfortable to talk to.

Interview
I applied online, received an email in 3 weeks. The first round interview was one-way virtual, meaning that I got a set of questions and I needed to record my answers through the given link.

Question 1
Why you’re in the market for an actuarial opportunity, how you heard about Centene, and why you’re interested in this particular role.
I had 3 rounds: a phone interview and then a 3-person interview (all directors) that was 45 minutes. Then I met 3 people on the team, which was a group interview.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself, tell me about a time when you faced a challenge
I applied online. I interviewed at Centene in May 2024
Interview
I don't think I spoke to a real person. I tried communicating with the recruiter but they never responded to my emails. They gave me a one-way interview and then I was rejected. That was my first and last one-way interview. How can you tell anything about a person through a camera and recorded answers that you can re-record as many times as you want? Interviews are meant to be a process where the interviewer AND interviewee get to ask each other questions. Terrible experience. Terrible company.
