I went in for the HR interview. All well and smooth, pretty standard. Got told that the next few interviews would be with engineers and leads, etc. And that there would be a test in the middle.
Got contacted to go to another call, it was a challenge to resolve online, It was easy. I mentioned I don't do good in calls (in interview calls, not while at work resolving issues). I went through the thinking process of how to solve it, but also mentioned how I would go if the issue were different. I completed pretty much all of it. Then it was brought up the performance of the alg. I mentioned normally I didn't have to do this specially on a UI role of this type, the interviewer agreed and yet proceeded to explain I was not fit for the role for things that were meaningless and therefore wasn't even worth taking the rest of the hour.
Overall, it was handled poorly, I was expected to do things but without being told during the test, and none mentioned there would be a screensharing test (of which everyone tells you so you get ready).
Honestly, this was not the role I applied for, I also didn't like the implications of it, and I certainly didn't like the person either I wouldn't recommend the company.
