I was reached out to by the COO through Indeed that they found my profile and wanted to set up an interview, then offered some available time slots. I replied same day with my availability and never received a reply but assumed all was well. On the day of the interview, nobody ever called me. I wrote an email to the interviewer 15 minutes past my scheduled time and he replied back an hour later that they were fortunate enough to identify a candidate and have hired them. I have no problem with the fact that they found someone - happy that they did! That said, it's pretty inconsiderate to reach out to a candidate to set up an interview, then not only never give them a chance at the interview but also never let them know that they went with someone else.
