I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CharterUP (San Francisco, CA) in June 2022
Interview
Panel interview with developer, QA engineer, and CTO. Each person on the panel asked several questions. I was given time at the end of the interview to ask about the role and the company.

Question 1
What projects are you most proud of? Have you worked with REST APIs? What is the most complex front end project you have worked on?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at CharterUP in Feb 2023
Interview
I underwent a lengthy interview process with Charterup, which took nearly six weeks in total. This process consisted of three interviews, with a fourth planned but was never scheduled. The first stage was a screener interview, followed by a panel interview with four members five days later. The third interview, initially scheduled with the CEO, was postponed by three weeks due to the CEO being on their honeymoon. In the end, I met with the company president because of a scheduling conflict with the CEO. The fourth interview, intended to be with the new CTO, was delayed by an additional two weeks as they were on vacation and unreachable. Unfortunately, I never received an invitation for this final interview, nor any further communication from Charterup. Throughout the interviews, I received positive feedback from the recruiter I was working with, and the interviews were relatively straightforward. However, the reasons provided for the scheduling delays and the lack of follow-up communication suggest there may have been ulterior motives behind these delays. I would advise against applying to Charterup if you value your time.

Question 1
Relatively straight forward situational interview questions, as well as some high-level discussions about their tech stack and what changes I would implement.
IQ/Luminosity Test followed by a mini coding challenge. The code pen I was sent had an outdated Vue constructor that did not work and instruction to only modify code in the method.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CharterUP (Austin, TX) in Aug 2022
Interview
The communication and interviews started off well. Did their silly little aptitude test, moved on to the second round technical which is just a complete mess of an editor. Never heard back after that. CTO was the one handling things and he ghosted me.

Question 1
Aptitude test, easy algo, and some weird frontend question about pulling info from a table that would be such a niche thing for someone to know how to do.
