I was first contacted by an HR Rep for a phone screening to go through my resume and discuss salary expectations. About a month and a half later, I had an in person interview with 6 members of the team. I met with each individually for about a half hour. Each person had their own style, but their goal was mostly to see how I fit in. A month later I found out they selected another candidate but wanted to meet with me regarding another position. I went in for another round of interviews. (same format) A month later I found out that I had been selected as the final candidate. The HR rep told me I would be receiving my offer in about week. When I did not receive the offer, I followed up and was told it was stuck in process. After another week or so I reached out and found out they were "evaluating resources" and that they would know more in a week. Another week went by and I found out that the position had been cancelled.
I rated the process as negative because the HR rep did not keep me informed and misrepresented the situation.
My biggest mistake was allowing myself to take my foot off the gas when I felt that Chase was where I wanted to be, and I had a good chance of getting the position. It is a long process and if it does not pan out, it will be months lost.
