I applied online. I interviewed at Checkr (Santiago) in Dec 2025
Interview
It's a very long process for what they pay, more than 7 interviews. 1 screening, live coding, Manager, Refactoring, Object Design, Architecture Design, and REST API. The hiring manager, David Toro, is not a pleasant person; he doesn't respond or provide updates on the status of the process. More than a month only to be told no. Mediocre company, mediocre salaries, mediocre benefits, and a mediocre, unfair, and overrated hiring process.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Checkr (Santiago) in Apr 2026
Interview
First screening '30 min very kind recruitment manager. Then went to onsite office here in Providencia and very beautiful view at Costanera and nice people to talk in the meetup/open-house event. Second screening with Engineer manager also quick and easy to talk to. Next week got the four 60' minutes rounds of Interview, medium dificulty, the important thing is to talk about my train of though and how do I work daily with this typical issues.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Checkr (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2025
Interview
I initially had a call with the recruiter and then a name matching exercise and a hiring manager round. I was really shocked to see that the hiring manager wanted to run my resume by his team after the third round. Yeah, you heard it right third round without the team having seen my resume. This is total waste of time. I do not recommend attending these interviews. If you reject a candidate and give no feedback at this stage it talks a lot about the company and the culture. Please respect the candidate's time.
