Initial chat with the CTO then you get sent a take home challenge (a very unexciting one may I add), where you basically end up slaving away for days to build something to meet an invisible bar they have set to then be rejected if you don't meet it with then zero feedback left second guessing yourself. Waste of time I would stay away. The recruiter also ghosted after I chased asking for feedback.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No meaningful questions were asked, probably the usual "why do you want to join this company" etc
I interviewed at Chemify (Glasgow, Scotland) in Oct 2024
Interview
Long process, 4 stages in total, including calls with CEO and CTO at the end. Not much technical difficulty for this particular position, although interviews for the experimental chemistry roles are technically challenging.
A Series of Informal interviews, HR, technical and a small presentation as well as a laboratory tour. At points, upper management were rude and unprofessional making the overall experience poor.
