Long, 2 rounds. First was a virtual one by the gatekeeper.
Then the second one was at the office. The environment didn’t feel ‘welcoming’ to me and I had to wait some time for the managers to show up.
2 first-line managers then started interviewing me but didn’t seem very convincing when providing details on earnings potential.
Then after quite a long session of >30-40 min, they told me the general manager would not be able to turn up for the interview.
Basic pay was appalling; it was so low I couldn’t believe it’s happening in Singapore at this time and era.
Transport allowance wasn’t fantastic either.
Next the sales commission is also very unattractive.
Overall, I feel that the company is trying its luck to get cheap labour.
