I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at China Merchants Bank (Singapore)
Interview
Was showed to the meeting room by HR. Upon entering the meeting room, the two interviewers did not bother to introduce themselves or give a firm handshake. I was not informed that there would be other interviewers conducting/attending through a zoom session with the China counterparts, who also did not bother to introduce themselves. Technical issues occurred throughout the interview, resulting in interruptions that made it difficult to maintain a smooth and consistent discussion. The interview was conducted in Mandarin by Chinese nationals. There was a significant mismatch between the job description shared by the recruiter and the responsibilities discussed during the interview. Furthermore, the interviewers seemed unfamiliar with my CV and did not demonstrate a clear understanding of my experience and qualifications.
Partway through the interview, I became less interested in the role due to the concerns mentioned above.
