Interview
The interview experience was positive and well-structured. It was a two-part process: a practical written test followed by a traditional face-to-face interview.
Be prepared for the written test to assess your typing skills. They are particularly interested in your speed and accuracy because the position involves a great deal of reporting. This was a clear point of emphasis.
The interview itself was conducted by a couple of very nice and welcoming managers. They did a great job of making it feel more like a conversation than an interrogation. The questions were not very difficult, focusing on standard topics like 'walk me through your resume,' 'why are you interested in this role,' and situational questions based on my past work. It felt like they were genuinely trying to get to know me and see if I would be a good fit for their team culture.
Overall, my advice is to brush up on your typing and be ready to speak confidently about your experience. The team seems great and the process is not intimidating.
