Chintz & Company interview questions

I applied for a general manager position. After submitting my resume I received an email inviting me for an interview for the position the next morning. When asked about my retail background (15 years, owned my own store previously) she said they were only considering people with a background in furniture. This was not posted on the position. The manager clearly hadn't read my resume and apologized for wasting my time. I have hired in previous roles myself and have always made sure that the candidate meets the requirements before asking them to attend an interview.
