I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Bakersfield, CA) in Sept 2017
Interview
I had an interview at a hiring event for a new location opening up. I talked to the general manager for about 10 minutes. She was very friendly, and asked me the basic interview questions and also asked what I knew about the company, and about my availability. I answered the questions, got scheduled for a second interview and later on got a call back that I got the job.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
