I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle in July 2013
Interview
Applied online. Got an email about a week later notifying me of the interview and then a phone call a couple of days after that to pretty much repeat what the email said. When I arrived at the location, found out it was a group interview with 4 of us (2 didn't show up apparently). He would ask a question and everyone would answer one at a time in no particular order.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were not difficult or unexpected. They were pretty standard for an interview although most of them focused more on personality which is to be expected in a group interview.
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
