I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2014
Interview
Had 2 interviews at different locations.
1. Applied online and was called the very next day for an interview. It was a group interview of about 10 of us. We all sat inside the restaurant and were asked to answer questions one at time. Lasted about 5 minutes. Did not get a job offer
2. Applied online and contacted a few days later via email to come in for an interview. This interview was different and more personal. It was only 3 of us. We were asked why we want to work there, what we know about chipotle, etc. The manager made it seem like we got the job because she told us to go home and do our homework about chipotle and get prepared. however I did not get a job offer.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had

Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
