I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Akron, OH) in May 2015
Interview
I applied for the job online. I found it through snagajob. I submitted the application on Thursday and the store manager called later that day. I missed her call because I was outside until late. I texted to apologize because she left a personal number and then I called the next morning and left a message. She texted back and set up my first interview on Monday (three days later). I got there early and had to wait a little while but it was fine because I liked watching everyone to get an idea of what I might be doing. The store manager came out and we had a one on one interview (unlike what most of you have said) in the main eating area. The questions were easy and I felt I did well. She invited me back the next day (Tuesday) for another interview. This time it was with the GM and an apprentice. Both were one on one, so a lot of the same questions. But again, easy questions and I felt I really hit it off with both of them. The GM said that he would have the store manager call the next day when she was in to set up my third interview. (Which is a ton of interviews just for a fast food place but they were all pretty easy and short, just a lot.) The store manager didn't call me the next day. I texted to ask because I had to text to ask what time I was supposed to come in for the second interview too. It has been four days and still no response. I am going to call the store on Tuesday if I don't hear back by then.
---Update 1---
So I called the store on Tuesday and they said that they manager I needed to talk to wasn't in that day and to call back the next day. I did and talked to the store manager. She asked me a few more questions and told me she would call back after the lunch rush to schedule my third interview. I waited, and waited. At around 2:30 I texted her and said that I had to go somewhere with my little sister but that I would call later that night to schedule the interview. She texted me back and said to check my email. There was a link with my username and temporary password for their work site that all the employees are in. I was a little bit surprised because I thought I still had one more interview but the manager said that, nope, it's for real, so I was hired. I went in to take my documentation the next day and they said they would call me in for orientation some time this week. Still waiting for that, but I am an employee now though! Kind of a crazy process but I'm not complaining too much.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had

Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
