I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Addison, IL) in July 2015
Interview
Applied online and received a call a couple days later to schedule an interview. Arrived a little early, went up to the register and introduced myself and told them I was there for an interview. They gave me a cup for a drink and asked me to take a seat. I waited a bit for the manager(?) and she came in and sat at the table with me. She didn't seem very interested in interviewing me. She lacked the enthusiasm I was expecting and barely made eye contact with me. Didn't write anything down, just played with her pen the entire time.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
