I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Chipotle in Aug 2015
Interview
Interviewed with a group of 5 people and then got called back with the same three people as before with a new person. The first interview is with a manager and the second is when the manager takes you to the back and some of the crew assesses you and basically interviews you. It wasn't really fair because they jump from person to person and they don't let everyone answer one question. As a result I couldn't showcase more of me and there was one guy who basically was the epitome of a good worker. Others repeated their answers and I was the only one who actually talked about chipotle's history and offered other answers. They really stress knowing the company you work for but this particular branch could care less. They seemed to be interested in someone who has a lot of extracurriculars and someone too cliche in my opinion.
Also, I was interviewed in another branch and the manager didn't really ask any questions. He kept repeating how the process worked and I was polite but felt it was unnecessary to spend most of the interview time talking about the actual interview process. He said he had high hopes for me but never got a call back. Plus, the email said it was a hiring fair so obviously I came a little late thinking there was a big enough time gap from when it started to when it ended but when I got there he said I missed the group interview. They need to proofread their emails because at first I thought it was only me, but another guy after was confused as well, since he interpreted it the same way. Overall, a really hard company to get hired at.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Denton, TX)
Interview
Interview process was straightforward and easy. You submit an online application. Then you do an in-person interview with a manager. The manager I met with was very friendly and the youngest ever at this branch (or district). She asked me general questions about my background, if I had experience working in customer service, food, etc., my availability, and asked if I had any questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Melrose Park, IL) in Jan 2022
Interview
It was very short and easy half the time these companies are in desperate need for employees and just want somebody with flexible schedules and someone who is reliable. Just smile and relax. I personally didn't even get asked that many question just got hired
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What do you think describes a good customer interaction?
The process lasted less than 10 minutes, and all the questions asked I was prepared for since I found them online the night before. Simple things like "where do you see yourself in 6 months," and "what makes you want to work here". Everything was extremely casual and it was not a group interview since I was hired during COVID-19.
