I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Saint Petersburg, FL) in Mar 2021
Interview
quick, to the point, they only call you back if you get the job. Business casual, don't wear fake nails (food hazard). One interview, then if you are offered the job, the onboarding process is easy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
availability, past experience, they generally watch your vibe
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
