I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Cintas (Colorado Springs, CO) in June 2018
Interview
I was reached out to by a recruiter in late April through LinkedIn. They had stated my qualifications were a good fit for an Outside Sales position, and we set up an initial phone screen. After about 15 minutes of talking through my resume, past accomplishments and learning a bit more about the role, they stated I would be moving on to an in-person interview. My file was then handed over to another recruiter who was going to get this interview set up. She reached out to me via text message about 3 weeks after my phone screen to set up a time to interview. It took about a month of texting to finally set up an in-person interview. During this time, the recruiter was very unresponsive and would go days or weeks without responding to me answers back to her. I would need to continually prod her to get her to respond to me, and even then it sometimes would not work. The in-person interview went very well. I interviewed with both the hiring manager as well as a team-lead in the office. At this time, they stated my experience did not match up with the job I was recruited for, but they had another position in mind that seemed like it would work great. After that interview, I was not given clear steps moving forward and was unsure how to move through the process. I again tried to reach out to the recruiter 2-3 times over the few weeks following the in-person interview with no response whatsoever. I then reached out to the hiring manager who said they were still interviewing other candidates and would respond to me within the week. 2 more weeks went by with nothing back so I again reached out to the hiring manager, this time with no response. I then reached back out to the original recruiter who had reached out to me on LinkedIn as a last resort to see if she knew what was going on. About 5 minutes later, I received a canned response from the recruiter who had no responded to me for weeks that I was no longer being considered.
This was a horrendous process and I was kept in the dark for weeks with no follow up only to be told I was no longer being considered with no rationale as to why. I didn't think I was treated fairly throughout this process and am disappointed in the result. It was completely unprofessional and I hope that in the future candidates get treated better.
Overall the in-person interview was not too difficult, really just talked through my experience and resume while also talking through some of the essential job functions.

Interview
I had an interview scheduled after a recruiter reached out to me. I scheduled the interview and let them know I was looking to relocate. The recruiter didn’t read that part I guess and when I got on the interview I let her know again, she said she doesn’t oversee that region so she will forward my info to that region. My interview was at 3pm, I assumed the other recruiter would email me to set up a time, he called around 4:30 but I was working so I couldn’t pick up. No voicemail, no email, just never heard back.

Was headhunted via LinkedIn, went very far into long interview process, then was rejected due to incomplete post-secondary, which they would have known before they headhunted me. Lack of organization and filtering through recruitment, however, fantastically structured company, lots of opportunity for hungry reps.
