      Human Resources Manager Interview

      15 Apr 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cintas in Feb 2013

      Interview

I was first contacted by the incumbent HR Manager via LinkedIn to ask if I would be interested in this opportunity with the company; after looking into the job description, we set up a phone interview to talk about the position more in detail. The phone interview was pretty basic, just inquiring about my background, describing the position, and asking a few behavioral questions. A week later I met on-site with the Plant Manager for a tour and second interview. The second interview was all behavior-based questions again, and went very well. I was then shown around the plant and always was open to asking questions about Cintas, the plant, and the position. I was invited for a third interview a week leader with the Regional HR Manager; again, behavioral-based questions, and this one was pretty brief, seeing as I had two people answer most of my questions before this point. Since I was the first person they interviewed, it was several weeks before I heard from them again, and I was invited to lunch by my first two interviewers to re-engage with me/ask any lingering questions. I was pretty hopeful at this point, since the meeting was pretty personal. A week later I received a rejection e-mail, and was a bit disappointed investing two months into the process, but overall it was a pretty positive experience. I was told by the second interviewer that the way the Cintas interview process is set up, the managers do not speak about candidates between interviews, so the final decision is when they all collaborate together to chose the best fit.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cintas (Salt Lake City, UT) in Mar 2026

      Interview

Absolutely poor interview process. I was reached out to by a recruiter at Cintas in early March. I had a phone screening for 15 minutes that went well with her, and she moved me forward in the process. I ended up having FOUR interviews that were ONE HOUR each. After that, I didn't hear anything back from them. No phone call, no email, no text. Nothing. Fast forward to April, and I get a message from another recruiter asking me to apply and interview for the exact same position (HR Manager - Salt Lake City) that I had interviewed for before! It makes me question whether or not their HR Manager opening in Salt Lake City is even real or not. Or if they intend to hire anyone for it. I am sure there were many other candidates that were as qualified, or even more qualified than I was for the position, and I would be willing to be they got the same treatment that I did!

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Cintas (Langley, BC) in Feb 2026

      Interview

I had a scheduled phone interview where the interviewer called approximately 15 minutes late without acknowledging the delay. About 15 minutes into the conversation, the call disconnected. I attempted to call back immediately, but it went straight to voicemail and there was no follow-up. While technical issues can happen, the overall candidate experience felt disorganized.
