Interview
One of the best interviews I've been to, to be honest. HR and Hiring Manager were prompt in their replies and gave me a breakdown on how the interview will be conducted. The interview questions had no curveball kind of questions and were exactly as how I prepared for typical PM interviews. Appreciated the friendliness of both the HR and hiring manager and for trying to answer my rather tough questions regarding their startup and the role. Received my rejection email, which I suspect was due to my inability to commit to the time period they were looking for, but I loved how genuine and sincere the rejection email was.

Question 1
What is your favourite product and why? What will you change about this favourite product? How will you measure the success of this change? Tell me about a challenging time when working with developers (as a designer).
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Circular (Sydney) in May 2022
Interview
The interview process consisted of three calls, each growing with formality.
The first I had was a introductory chat with the HR recruitment team. It was a light and lovely conversation. This first chat was just a culture-fit interview so I didn't feel pressured at all.
The second interview was with the tech-lead (my upcoming supervisor). Similar to the first, this chat was light and friendly - again not too much pressure. We mainly talked about my experience and past projects.
The third and final interview was a technical interview (technical questions and a live coding exercise). This was my first technical interview ever so I was a little nervous going in. However, the hosts were very welcoming and established a comfortable environment.

Interview
Very clear interview process. HR is very responsive and articulate, which is really hard to come by these days!
I was able to reach out and get updates throughout the interview process, that made it very convenient in terms of planning the entire timeline of transitioning into a new role.
Interview was in 3 stages, initial phone screening, skill fit and culture fit.
At all 3 stages the interviewees were engaging, down-to-earth and allowed time for discussion and Q&A too. Very positive energy.
Overall was a pleasant interview process, it definitely helped in decision-making.
