I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Cisco in Oct 2012
Interview
I first met a recruiter at a school job fair and they set me up with an interview the next day.
The interview lasted about an hour and was split 50/50% between technical and personality/resume type questions.
The questions consisted of "Why is a manhole cover round?", "What is the difference between Java and C?", "What is the difference between inheritance and instantiation?".

Question 1
You have a scale and 10 coins. All coins look and feel exactly the same, but one weighs a little bit less or more than the others. What is the least number of weighings on the scale do you have to do to figure out which coin it is?
It was nice, informative. One should prepare using all resources. They will judge your understanding based on everything that you ever demonstrated in the process, so be aware of everything you said or mentioned.
It was basically deep dive into resume and some questions on Dsa. The overall experience was good. There were 4 rounds in total. Be familiar with basics of the language that you primarily use.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cisco (Bengaluru)
Interview
3 rounds. 2 tech and 1 HR. The tech rounds lasted 1 hr 15 means each. HR was just formality for me though some had proper HR rounds. They wanna see how you work out solns with them over the actual one.
