I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Cisco (Herndon, VA) in July 2010
Interview
First interview was with the recruiter that found my resume, basic phone screen. Second interview was with the hiring manager, and was fairly rushed to fit within a 30-minute window he had available. After that, had hour-long technical interviews with two of the members of his team. All interviews went very positively, and indicated an affirmative tone.
Unfortunately, getting a response from the manager has been difficult. Repeated phone calls indicated they'd be making a decision in about a week, however a decision never came.
Negative rating because of the lack of communication.
