I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco (Rotterdam) in Apr 2015
Interview
I attended an Inhouse day and was later called and told I was invited for the second interview round. This is a Skype like meeting of about 40 minutes. The third phase is a 2 minute video on your background and motivation/fit for Sales at Cisco. The 4th round is an assessment day. I was told to receive the decision on the video today, but I haven't yet and can not get in touch with the persons responsible, that is a minus.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What makes a good Sales person?
What does Cisco do? (make sure to be able to explain the activities rather than just naming them)
Name an example of a situation in which you successfully :
- Convinced people of your vision
- Worked with a low performing team member / colleague
- Used creativity to solve a business problem.
The interview process was lengthy and rigorous but also enjoyable. I was required to give a presentation, conduct a sales role play, and do a behavioral interview. I felt like all of my interviewers were attentive, asked interesting questions, and provided great feedback. It was a great experience!

What was a time you loved working at a previous job? They also asked about a time I disliked working.
Normal process simple questions not sure if that’s helpful to really select what they’re looking for
But it was a pleasant conversation
