The interview process was terrible. There were 7 rounds of interviews, with the last round being in person. In between each round, my recruiter would say she would reach out but never did. I spent most of the process chasing her down for updates.
After the 6th round, my recruiter went 4 weeks without giving me an update, so I had to follow up again. The last stage was in person, where I drove 1.5 hours just to speak to the hiring manager for 30 minutes. After that interview, my recruiter told me I was the “front runner” and that I would be getting the job, and said not to be alarmed if she did not reach out. As expected, she then did not follow up for another 3 weeks, even after I reached out for an update.
After that, it was clear I did not get the job. A week later, she called to say they went with an internal candidate. The process felt very disorganized and lacked transparency.
Additionally, it was mentioned during interviews that the company currently operates on a four-day workweek, but this is expected to change to five days, which is important context for candidates to be aware of.
