I found the managers to be respectful during the interview process and they made me feel welcomed. Very quick and easy. I had little experience but they were willing to teach me.
I applied online. I interviewed at City Of Falls Church Virginia (Falls Church, VA) in Jan 2021
Interview
First interview was virtual due to COVID. 3 total individuals. One person would ask a pre-written question, then the next person. They would take turns asking questions reading off a piece of paper. Very minimal eye contact. Lots of writing while you answer.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at City Of Falls Church Virginia (Falls Church, VA) in July 2009
Interview
The call from the employer to me was 27 days after the application was submitted. The interview took place 10 days after the phone call.
On the day of the interview I arrived 15 min early. I had been acknowledged and was waiting for someone to come back to me. While I was standing there another lady walks in and tells them she is there for an interview for the same time I was. The lady then asked me if I was also there for an interview. We exchanged that we had both been called and set up our interview time with the same person and we were both positive it was for the same time. I stated when I first got the call I was given two days to choose from and after choosing my day, I was offered AM or PM I chose AM then 9:30-10:30-11:30am slots. They said I would get a confirmation email which I never got, I didn't ask the other lady if she got the confirmation email.
Once they realized two people showed up for the same slot I was told, "Oh I had you down for 1:30pm but we can squeeze you in". I guess she forgot to write in the zero in next to the one in ten?!? So the other lady went on at 10:30 and I sat in the clerks reception area and read the newspaper with a cup of water. They got me around 11am and I went until 11:35am.
When I asked how long before they hope to fill the position and they'll decide if they'll do a 2nd round of interviews and IF they do that, once they decide on the person they hope they could start quickly. I brought my references but it wasn't until I was in the car heading home that I realized, they never asked for my references. They never told me to bring them but I assumed that was implied.
19 days later I received a rejection letter in the mail.
The whole process was a few days short of 2 months.

Question 1
Something like, give an example of a time you didn't agree with what your supervisor asked you to do. Or maybe it was that you disagreed with how you were asked to do it.
