I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at City Year in June 2018
Interview
The interview process was very straight forward. You picked a time on their website of when you wanted to interview. Then that time would arrive and your interviewer would give you a call. The interview took about 50 minuets. They asked you questions about yourself and your personal experiences as well as giving you scenarios and answering questions based off of that.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time you worked on a team and there was a disagreement. What did you do?
Very simple. Quick virtual interview and pretty simple questions. Research their values and what not and you should be good to go. As far as I remember it was a single interview and decision is relatively soon after that.
Really friendly and welcoming. Try to make it as comfortable as possible and share about the work they do. They want to ensure applicants are making the right decisions and that they assess the values.

Interview
Done over zoom and not an overly long process interviews are usually conducted by the IM for a school in the city you are applying for but if you have a pulse you should be fine
