I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at City Year in Nov 2013
Interview
I applied online in November, and two days later heard back from the site that I applied to (Chicago) to schedule a time for a phone interview. The interview was about an hour and half, and four weeks later I got an e-mail letting me know that I had been hired.

Question 1
How would you handle a situation in which somebody less experienced than you in a given field was leading you, and how would you handle an situation where you were leading a group of people who were more experienced than you in that field?
Very simple. Quick virtual interview and pretty simple questions. Research their values and what not and you should be good to go. As far as I remember it was a single interview and decision is relatively soon after that.
Really friendly and welcoming. Try to make it as comfortable as possible and share about the work they do. They want to ensure applicants are making the right decisions and that they assess the values.

Interview
Done over zoom and not an overly long process interviews are usually conducted by the IM for a school in the city you are applying for but if you have a pulse you should be fine
