I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at City of New York (New York, NY) in Apr 2017
Interview
The interview was a phone interview which lasted around thirty minutes. Depending on the office you're interviewing, they will ask you a series of questions relating to issues that the City of New York is facing e.g, transportation, immigration, and education etc. Some dealt with your previous work experience.
Four weeks later, I received an offer via email.
