I applied online. I interviewed at City of Seattle (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2013
Interview
Simply received an email asking what time I was available. I responded and had a 3 panel interview. The questions were given to me beforehand and I was given 5 minutes to look them over. .
I had two interviews. The first I was asked quite a few questions that I did not know the answer to. There were two interviewers. I felt as though they were looking for someone with a lot of experience for an internship role. Second interview was for a different team. I was asked much easier questions. I never received an offer even though the second interview seemed to go very well. Not really sure what happened!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at City of Seattle (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2018
Interview
You get a set of questions 15 min prior to prepare. Show up early, but not too early. Very formal. Just be yourself and you'll do fine. You interview at Seattle Municipal Tower, and make sure you are properly dressed
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at City of Seattle (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2014
Interview
I started with a current employee referral. The process started with a call from HR with some behavior questions and after 1 week I was invited to he interview. The interview team consists of about a 5- people panel with each person giving me a question to solve. The questions consist all basic civil engineering questions, such as fluid dynamics, mechanics and a little bit of electrical engineering program. Did pretty well with all of the questions. About a week later, got a call saying I was offered the internship. The process was pretty smooth
