There was an informal typing test just to demonstrate a level of competency followed by two in person interviews with different members of the departments. The second interview I was given an informal job offer. I was told I would be contacted once my references were checked. Three weeks passed and I heard nothing. I sent an email inquiring and the next day I got a very general e-mail telling me I was not being offered the job. The e-mail had details wrong which made me confused. I called to check up and was told I would be contacted to have things clarified but that was obviously a lie to get me off the phone as no one made an effort to contact me.
