In my third interview with the CEO, he asked somewhat irrelevant questions, such as languages I speak & what was the average class size at my college. I've been out of school for over a decade; why did that matter? He kept interrupting me and kept asking if I could actually handle the role. There was no cheer, no joy, or passion in these interviews. The CEO kept insisting I should be ready to work weekends and holidays, but that Civic Influencers is "a family". It felt creepy and like a major red flag. The whole experience was odd and condescending. I was glad to receive another job offer so I could end that insanity.
