The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Clarity AI in Apr 2026
Interview
First, CV screening. Then HR interview. After that email discarding me with the generic "we have decided to move forward with other candidates who more closely match the role's requirements" even if I asked all her questions correctly, and my CV fulfilled all the requirements.
I first had a fit interview with HR. She was amazing and overall great interview. Last interview was a case study applied to the company's industry. It was hard but reasonable (consulting style).
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Clarity AI (Madrid) in Jan 2026
Interview
I had a really great experience throughout the entire selection process.
From the very beginning, the HR team was incredibly responsive, friendly, and supportive, communication was always fast, clear, and very kind.
The process itself was well structured and transparent. It consisted of:
An initial interview with Lucía from HR
A technical interview with the Director of Data Science
A take-home exercise with a 7-day deadline
A final panel interview
Everything was clearly explained in advance, including expectations and timelines.
What really stood out to me was how considerate and human the team was. On the same day I submitted the take-home exercise, I received an offer from another company. Since I was genuinely very interested in this role, I asked whether it would be possible to speed up the remaining steps. The team was extremely understanding, moved very quickly, and kept me informed at all times. Responses were always prompt and thoughtful.
Overall, the people I interacted with were not only highly professional but also genuinely nice and approachable. It felt like a process where candidates are respected, listened to, and treated with care.
I would absolutely recommend this interview process to other candidates.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the questions at the panel interview focused on how to handle high-cardinality categorical variables in a model, especially when a naive approach could introduce noise or performance issues.
The discussion was very practical and centered on trade-offs rather than theoretical tricks.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re so glad the process felt structured, transparent, and supportive, and we truly appreciate your thoughtful feedback.
