Interview
The process consisted of a single 1-hour technical interview. It was split into two distinct halves:
React/JS Trivia: 30 minutes of rapid-fire questions that felt pulled directly from a "Top 100 React/JS Interview Questions" list. There was no discussion regarding my actual professional experience or architectural decision-making. I also got asked some trivia questions while doing live coding which is very disruptive.
Live Coding: A 30-minute challenge to build a Hangman game from scratch. The requirements were extensive (nearly a full A4 page of specs), which was unrealistic for the time allotted. Furthermore, the coding platform had significant latency, making real-time debugging nearly impossible—an issue I flagged to the interviewer during the session.

Question 1
The interview opened with a question about an obscure React bug described only verbally. Without seeing the console or a code snippet, it was difficult to provide a meaningful diagnosis. This was followed by theoretical trivia rather than practical, scenario-based questions. Despite flagging the platform's performance issues, the rejection feedback stated I "could not debug basic issues." It was disappointing to see technical limitations of their chosen tool attributed to my skill set. Stay away.

They ghosted after the first round. HM said I was a strong fit for the role and they would follow-up, but they never reached out and ignored multiple emails.
No response after initial interview. The screening process was fine but their interview process consists of a full day onsite, would not invest the time in it if the hiring managers cannot even notify you when you don’t make it through
