I summited my application via LinkedIn and within 2 days I was contacted to submit additional information (application form, work samples). Then had a call with an HR representative. She explained in a lot of detail what the position was about, how the team worked and what my responsibilities be. She also pointed out what she thought the strengths on my profile were and allowed me to address some of her concerns in my profile. I really appreciated her doing that. She was also very upfront about salary ranges and let me know what to expect during the recruitment process. Then had a face to face interview with a Senior Project Manager. Our conversation focused more on technical aspects of the position and my previous experience and knowledge of this. She was also very honest and transparent. My experience was really positive and different compared to other Chinese companies where things aren't set clear from the get go and you just find out after 5 rounds of interviews the salary they offer is way bellow market range.
