I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Clever Training (Seminole, FL) in Oct 2018
Interview
Brief, went in to a conference room with the hiring manager and the Logistics/ Operations manager. Went over some details about the position and submitted it. Then went over other aspect of the position and what they would include.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Clever Training
Interview
The interview process was very tedious and consisted of very generic questions and even some weird ones like "If you could be a fruit which one would you be"?
After applying it took a few weeks for a response. I then had a 15 minute phone interview which felt very rushed. Over a week later I was asked to write an essay on certain things like "Explain in detail on how you would improve the website". It felt like they were just trying to get some free input on how to improve as a company, especially since I noticed on their website they now use the same thing I suggested.
A few weeks later I went in person to interview. Despite the generic questions I thought the interview went very well, especially since I did their Excel assessment just fine. They told me they'd contact me next week, which they didn't. I emailed them and they said they'd let me know in another week. They didn't, so I emailed them again, which they finally responded stating they chose someone else.
The process was negative, not just because I didn't get an offer, but because the phone interview felt very rushed, the essay just felt like a consulting job, and they never responded despite them telling me a few times that they would.
