Applied online. As part of the application you must record a video of yourself on a third party application and submit the link with the application. You will likely not get an acknowledgment email for your application, it looks like ClickUp created an app that replaces them all, but can’t create their candidate application acknowledgment email. So you never know if your application went through.
The CEO and all employees are all over LinkedIn carrying on their overly exaggerated campaign. Interesting that the CEO isn’t even rated 90% on Glassdoor. The recruiters behave like they are recruiting for FaceBook, Google, ETC. They aren’t humble at all.
I was basically told I am not good enough for the position I am applying.
Feedback:
1 - Be humble. You all are carrying on this campaign to promote ClickUp, but from the outing it looks like despair, it’s overly annoying, and it’s for many ROBOTIC AND FAKE. Very important to be humble.
2- Recruiters, never tell others they aren’t enough. Don’t ever discourage others because they are shifting gears, do not ever assume, ask questions instead. You have one job, to inspire people and you are failing big!
3 - Please create a decent and human driven recruiting process!

Fairly routine and came in four stages: recruiter screen, team B hiring manager interview, team A hiring manager interview, then a panel interview which includes the VP and a peer/team member. The final panel interview doubles as a technical assessment where you'll be given a prompt and a few days to prepare, then you engage a panel of judges who will act like the clients in a mock session that would be typical of what the role would entail day-to-day.
The whole process, from initial conversation to job offer, took around 4 weeks, but the ClickUp team provided updates within a few days after each interview, so you're not left guessing for TOO long.

The hiring process was quite lengthy and rigorous, but it offered a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the company. Kudos to the incredible recruitment team for their outstanding support, providing timely updates, quick responses to queries, and a very personable approach throughout the journey. It truly was one of the best recruiting experiences I’ve ever had!

The interview process consisted of five rounds: the first and second rounds with recruiters, the third with the hiring manager, the fourth with a peer, who delivered a presentation based on a very generic and minimal detail prompt—an aspect they acknowledged only during the presentation. The fifth with the skip level. During this process, no demo license was provided, I suggest getting a paid subscription to access more technical features to make sure you can stand out. Throughout the process, I was informed that the intention was to hire externally due to the team's shortcomings in sales capabilities, necessitating someone to serve as a coach and mentor. Ultimately, I was passed over in favor of an internal candidate from the Philippines, despite the position being advertised for the USA. I was informed that the selected individual was favored due to their presentation of previously developed solutions for existing ClickUp clients. This experience has left me feeling that months of my time were largely wasted, as it seems my candidacy was merely a formality.
